The European College of Bovine Health Management (ECBHM) is an EBVS accredited veterinary specialty college dedicated to advancing all aspects of bovine heath management based on scientific evidence.  The college acccredits trainings institutions, provides training and education for its residents and certifies veterinary specialists in bovine health management.  The ECBHM serves as source of expertise in all areas related to bovine health, wellbeing and productivity.

ECBHM Residents' Workshop 2025

in Nantes, France, May 12th to 14th

 

This year's ECBHM Residents workshop on Pathology and Food Science took place in Nantes, France from May 12. -14.
In total 23 residents from across Europe and beyond came together for this cool event. 
The workshop  was organized by Raphael Guatteo and the group of Diplomates of the ECVP Jérôme Abadie, Florian Chocteau, Prof. Marie-Anne Colle, Frédérique Nguyen, Laetitia Dorso, Raúl Herrer and Jean-Baptiste Faraldi for pathology and Prof. Jean-Michel Cappeler (ECVPH) and Sofia Strubbia for Food Science.
This very enthusiastic team organized a hands-on 2.days event covering many aspects of necropsy, meat inspection and neuropathology. The Residents had the opportunity to participate and conduc necropsies, discuss a variety of different pathologies but also learned about the “non-lesions” in necropsy. 
The college expresses its appreciation and gratitude to the organizers for their dedication and enthusiasm in organizing an excellent hands-on and cutting-edge training event for our residents. We also greatly acknowledge the support and tremendous hospitality of the Veterinary school OnIris in Nantes!

ECBHM Certifying Exam 2025

6 new Diplomates welcome!

The 2025 ECBHM certifying examination took place at Vetmeduni Vienna, where a dedicated group of candidates took on the challenge of this rigorous process.

We are proud to congratulate our six newly certified Diplomates on achieving this significant milestone in their professional journey.

Our sincere thanks also go to the Examination Committee for their outstanding commitment in organising, preparing, and conducting the examination.
