About the Treasurer
Rainer Martin graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 1992 in Gießen/Germany.
He worked four years in a veterinary practice. From 1997 to 2005 he was at the Clinic for Gynecology and
since 2005 he is at the Clinic for Ruminants in the Production Medicine Unit and Ambulatory Clinic of the Munich Veterinary Faculty.
His main topics of interest are herd health management and risk evaluation of production diseases.
Treasurer's remit.
The Treasurer shall advise the President on budget matters, shall arrange for
safekeeping of all funds, draw vouches, pay bills and expenses, and submit a
written financial statement to the Board, and those assembled at the General
Meeting, annually. He/She shall keep full and accurate books or e-format of
account, containing a record of all monies received and expended, which books or
e-format shall be the property of the College and open to the inspection of the
authorised officials at all reasonable times and places.
