Short curriculum
Isabelle graduated from the University of Ghent, Belgium in 2004. Following 4 years in first opinion farm animal practice in Northern-Ireland, she took on a three-year residency training programme during which she divided her time equally between the Northvet Veterinary Practice on Orkney where she was involved in ambulatory farm animal work and the Scottish Centre for Production Animal Health and Food Safety at the University of Glasgow where she contributed to clinical teaching, carried out her research project analysing data associated with the BVD and Johne's eradication programmes on Orkney, and worked towards the ECBHM Diploma. She is currently employed as a Lecturer in Farm Animal Practice at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Her main clinical interests are in beef suckler herds, in particular infectious disease control programmes, fertility and obstetrics.
